Oh you mean the legendary ankle breaking samurai THE CORY X KENSHIN??? Yeah thats what I thought....anyways I love this man so much. Growing up with only the xbox360 console no games 10 minute demos and youtube-- bro Cory literally developed my love for gaming as well as my weridness which i love. I never really got into youtubers as a kid (reaction time, storybooth, and cory on repeat) so finding Cory was honestly the best. My favorite playthroughs are usually classics i obsessed over as a kid and just never rewatched the video in fear of tarnishing my childhood with values such as "damn this game has horrible specs" "wtf is this plotline" and "why is the video literally 20 minutes i swear i sat infront of my ipad for 2 hours watching this??". His script writing before videos was always fun for me to watch. Then on sundays before children's church I would skip to the end of his videos and rewrite the bible scriptures he posted. It came in clutch for 8yo me so many times. CoryxKenshin literally raised me so when folks ask me "Arent you upset he's on a hitaus" Im like nah cause he's always done this xD its so bad I now get missing from my youtube channel too but it keeps me humble from letting the view count get to me. Like the minute i start creating for fame instead of for fun I remove myself from youtube, tiktok, and whatever other digital third space there is. Plus i'm at peace now. He was the only male role modle i truly had and i learned what I needed from him so yes i miss him but i know i'll see him later so theres no reason to wait up. Plus my love for horror games is lowkey dead so when he does come im just happy to see he's doing well ^^. Thank you Cory for everything.
