Guys I'm literally Renako bro. Nah but seriously, watching this anime (i never knew about the manga) as a first year college student was literally the best thing ever. I had someone to relate to when it came to my social anixety and as I was working with my theapist with socializing I was able to grow alongside Renako when it came to growing her social circle i guess. Look I didnt want to be famous I just wanted to be friends with the people I saw as cool. Every Wednesday I would catch up on work so I could reward myself with watching Renako live my life in a way. Her constant battle with defining what makes a lover vs what makes a friend is another conundrum I struggled with as a pansexual in a small town of LGBTQ+ teens (That were out). Regardless I would say the top two episodes for me was when Koyanagi emphazied how she "cosplays" being an extravert. Guys. OMG. I'm literally a cosplayer why did I not think about doing the same for my social life. Yeah pretending sucked at first but it put me in situations that forced me to grow my social battery and learn social cues in real time. Yes I still dislike being the center of attention (says the person whos majoring in a career that requires them to be the...center...of...attention...), but I know I can survive it and it helped calm my nerves. I'm still working on my social anxiety but Thanks to Renako and ofc my theapist I now have a support system of friends who are so freaking cool omg. Second best episode to me was the finale cause omg since I was a kid I always wondered why love triangles never just got together. (Looking at you Star vs the Forces of Evil) So watching these girls go poly was so healing like omg yes!!! Anyways thats it ^^.
